WBVR worked together with a range of different organizations in the public, private and knowledge sectors in Indonesia and the Netherlands.ĭIFS-Live was implemented from 2014 to 2017 and focused on the development of the poultry and dairy sub-sectors in West Java. The Dutch Embassy contracted Wageningen Bioveterinary Research as the main coordination and implementation partner of DIFS-Live. Advance Consulting provided project-long assistance consisting of the development, coordination and implementation of the program.ĭIFS-Live is financed by the Government of the Netherlands and Dutch and Indonesian private sector partners. To contribute to this mission, the Dutch – Indonesian program on Food Security (Livestock) (DIFS-Live) was set up. Both public and private sector partners are to realize sustainable growth of the livestock sector and to ensure that Indonesian consumers continue to have access to safe and affordable products. Poultry meat and dairy products are increasingly important animal protein products for the consumers in Indonesia.
